Chicken Shed’s overall Mission Statement is: To produce excellent, original and creative theatre which demonstrates that the performing arts belong to everyone.
Chicken Shed’s pioneering work in producing so called ’inclusive’ theatre involving all sections of the community including children, youth and both ’mainstream’ and ’special’ sections of society has given them a nationwide influence and profile.
As well as performances the theatre offers a whole range of courses for groups and individuals to develop their theatre and performance skills.
